Professor of Operations Management, Environmental Management of Production Systems, Industrial Plants and Safety of Industrial Plants of first and second cycle curricula in Industrial Engineering and Management Engineering at the Polytechnic of Bari.
Member of the teaching staff of the Master in “Safety Engineering” offered by the Polytechnic of Bari.
Member of the Board of Professor of the PhD Course on “Mechanical and management engineering” at the Polytechnic of Bari.
MAIN RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
He has been involved in many research projects financially supported by "EU", “Ministry of Education, University and Research”, “Apulia Region” and national and international companies.
Main research topics: environmental management of production systems, design and management of industrial plants and supply chains, human performance modelling, risk, safety and security management, and management of healthcare systems.
He is author of 100 scientific publications. He won 2 Research awards (2011-2014). He participated in the organizing and scientific committees of several international conferences and has been involved as reviewer by international journals and conferences.
