Biografia

Mine Dastan is a Research Assistant at the Politecnico di Bari, specializing in Industry 4.0: Human–Computer Interaction within the medical field through Mixed Reality (MR) technologies. With a multidisciplinary background in architecture, industrial design, and engineering, she integrates diverse perspectives to design and evaluate innovative, user-centered MR systems. Her research explores how cognitive, perceptual, and motor insights can enhance human performance and interaction in spatial, collaborative, and surgical environments. She recently completed her Ph.D. and continues to advance applied research at the intersection of design, perception, and healthcare.

Curriculum

– Position: Research Assistant, Politecnico di Bari at the Department of Mechanics, Mathematics and Management (DMMM)
– Teaching: Docent of Digital Simulation and Prototyping (6 CFU) – Second Year, Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree, Department of Architecture, Construction, and Design (ArCoD)
